About
An avid musician, Justin Brown has had a phenomenal career - earning opportunities to tour around the world with multiple groups, such as the King's Brass, earned the Principal Trombonist for the Fox Valley Symphony Orchestra in Aurora, Illinois among many other. But it didn't come easy.
A Resilient Musician
Staying the Course
In 2012, right after receiving his Master's Degree in Performance, Justin sustained serious injuries from a car accident that left him uncertain he would ever play music again. After picking up the pieces, Justin learned to compose using his experiences from this time in his life as a main source of inspiration for others to persevere and overcome. Along the way, Justin has recorded multiple albums, movie soundtracks, and has played in a plethora of musicals, such as "Big" and "Chicago".
Education is also very important to his mission. From being an Assistant Band/Choir Director at multiple Middle and High Schools, to maintaining a private studio of ages ranging from 3-93, working as an Assistant Trombone Teacher for the University of Illinois "Trombone Camp", to coaching others trying to find their footing in getting their music out there in the world. Justin is most interested in how music positively affects our lives, communities, and our world and wants everyone to have an amazing experience.
